Our Services

We provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment and medication management to adults (above 18 years) only.

We specialize in treatment of addiction disorders and ADHD. We also treat a wide range of general psychiatric conditions including but not limited to depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

We do not treat psychiatric conditions that require acute or higher level of psychiatric care, such as

-  Active thoughts of harming self or others
-  Eating disorders
- Acute intoxication or withdrawal from illicitsubstances
-  Any other condition that we decide requires higher level of care

We do not provide legal evaluations or certifications for disability, workers compensation, FMLA etc.

Though we incorporate some basic psychotherapeutic techniques during our sessions as warranted, we do not provide exclusive psychotherapy treatment.

At present, we are able to offer services only to patients in the State of Pennsylvania, New York, Texas and Arizona.

How We Treat You

Psychiatric assessment

If you’ve been facing issues with mental illness for some time, we can help you with that. An experienced psychiatrist will personally take you through a thorough medical assessment to help you understand what you’re going through. When you’re done, we can make an initial diagnosis of your condition (if you have one) and prescribe therapy or medication.

Therapy

When going through depression or anxiety-related conditions, it’s important that you don’t ignore your mental health. We assign a psychiatrist based on your needs, and they will help you schedule regular appointments. You talk, they listen, and together you can take steps towards amore positive mental outlook.

Medication

The right medication is crucial to improving a mental condition, and it’s important to know what medicines to take and in what dosage. You can consult with a psychiatric prescriber on a regular basis through the entire course of your medication period. We’ll guide you through the whole process and address any concerns you might have.

Padmapriya Marpuri, MD, MRCPsych Geriatric Psychiatrist

Dr Marpuri attained her medical degree from Bangalore Medical College, India. She moved to United Kingdom and completed 4-yearpsychiatry training program in the West Midlands. She passed her training exams and became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych). She then immigrated to the United States of America and completed her psychiatry residency training at Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia and her geriatric fellowship training at Butler Hospital, Brown University, Providence, RI. She is board-certified in both General Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry. She is trained in performing the electroconvulsive therapy.

Dr Marpuri has 16 years of experience in multiple sub-specialties in psychiatry and has worked in various settings such as acute inpatient units, out patient clinics, nursing homes, prisons, intensive outpatient programs, and common it you teach programs. She has worked extensively with the geriatric population for the past 5 years and specializes in treating neurocognitive disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, anxiety and behavioral issues in the elderly

Gibson George, MD Addiction Psychiatrist

Dr Gibson George graduated from Sri Siddhartha Medical College, Tumkur, India. He completed his residency program at Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia. He moved on to train as a fellow in addiction psychiatryat Mount Sinai Hospital, New York. He has valuable experience in multiple sub specialties of psychiatry and has worked in different settings including in patient units, OP clinics, intensive outpatient programs, psychiatric emergency unit sand the VA hospital system.

He specializes in addiction psychiatry and has experience inworking with this population of patients for the last 5 years. He has experience in working in acute detox units, rehabilitation units, Methadone and Suboxone treatment programs. Dr George has published in peer-reviewed journals and a member of the American Association of Addiction Psychiatry and the Indo-American Psychiatric Association.
